Not financial advice
Fetch Brief summarizes what other people said in public videos. It is not advice, not a recommendation, and not a reason to enter a trade. Every summary is produced by an AI model and may misattribute a position, misread a price level, or invent one. Verify anything you act on against the source video.
You trade at your own risk. We are not liable for losses arising from anything you read here.
Credits
A typical video costs one credit. Longer videos use more and shorter ones use less, in proportion to how much information each one carries. Each month your plan tops your balance back up to its monthly allowance. If a summary fails, the credit is refunded automatically.
How long a video is, and so what it costs, is something we only know once we have fetched it — which happens after you submit it. So it can turn out that a video costs more than you have left. If it is close, occasionally we run it anyway. If it is well over, we stop before making the summary and tell you what that video needs.
If you are on a paid plan, you can buy top-up credits. These are one-time, non-refundable purchases. Unlike your monthly allowance, purchased top-up credits roll over month-to-month and do not expire while you remain subscribed. If you cancel your paid plan, you lose access to any remaining top-up credits when your subscription ends, but they will be waiting for you if you later resubscribe.
Sharing
A link you share keeps working for as long as your account does. Deleting your account stops your shared links resolving — that is the same deletion right described in our privacy policy, and it applies to links you have already sent.
Acceptable use
Don't resell the output, don't scrape the service, and don't use it to bulk-process a channel's back catalogue. Rate limits apply to every account, and we'll close accounts that work around them.
Who owns what
The YouTube links or transcripts you submit are yours, and transcripts belong to the people who made the videos. We claim no rights to either, and we don't republish transcripts.
Summaries you generate may be shown to other users who ask for the same video. They hold nothing that identifies you. What deleting your account removes is your library, which is the record of what you asked for, and your share links stop resolving. See our privacy policy.
You can paste a transcript instead of giving us a link. If you do, you are telling us you are allowed to — please don't paste anything confidential, or anything you don't have the right to share. We store and process pasted text exactly as we do a transcript we fetched ourselves, and we have no way to tell the two apart.
Liability and Warranties
FETCH BRIEF IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. We disclaim all warranties, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose.
Our maximum liability to you for any claim arising out of your use of the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the past 12 months, or $10 if you paid us nothing.
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims arising out of your use of the service or from transcripts you submit without authorization.
Changes and Termination
We may terminate or suspend your account at any time for violating these terms. We may change these terms at any time; changes apply to your next renewal period after they are posted.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia, Canada. Any disputes must be resolved in the courts of Vancouver, BC.
General
You need to be 18 to use Fetch Brief. These terms constitute the entire agreement between us. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full effect. Our failure to enforce any right does not waive it.
Paid plans
Pro is $10 a month and renews every month until you stop it. You can switch back to the free plan at any time, from the pricing page. Your paid plan then runs to the end of the month you have already paid for and you are not charged again — we do not refund part of a month, because you keep all of it.
Monthly credits do not roll over. Each renewal raises your balance to the plan's monthly allowance rather than adding to it, so credits you did not use are gone at the end of the month, and credits left over from Pro do not carry across when you move back to the free plan. You can delete your account at any time from your account page, which removes everything — see our privacy policy.
Your library goes on showing everything you generated while on a paid plan, for as long as your account exists. On the free plan your library shows the last 30 days.
